Respectfully Casual
What To Wear
While we don’t have a dress code, here are some helpful guides of a typical Sunday at North Metro:
Guys - you’ll fit right in with jeans and a collared shirt, or if you’re more comfortable in a pair of khakis and a button up, that works too!
Ladies - Anything from jeans and a sweater to a casual dress will be perfect for a Sunday service.
What to Expect At
A Typical Sunday Service
Our Sunday services are designed around making it as easy as possible for you to come and experience worship and learn about Jesus.

20 Minutes Before Service Starts
Arrive at the church.
Be sure to arrive at North Metro Church a little early to give yourself enough time to park and find a seat in one of our two seating environments:
- Auditorium - Live worship and teaching
- Theater - Second-floor simulcast environment with worship and teaching shown on a projection screen
Our guest services team will be ready to welcome you and assist in any way they can! Look for one of our team members in a blue shirt!

15 minutes before service starts
Check in your children and students.
If it’s your first time with us, you’ll need to fill out some information with our NMC Kids or Shift teams to ensure we have all the details we need to make your child’s experience positive.

Service starts
Worship and welcome.
Worship is how we take a step back from our everyday routines and focus on what Jesus has done for us. Worship means different things to different people, so feel free to dance, sing, listen, watch, or do it all.

Sermon series message
Learn through practical teaching
Every week at NMC is an opportunity to learn something new. Our pastors dive into teachings from the Bible and how to apply them to our everyday lives, grouping lessons into themed series.
A fun, safe, & loving environment
NMC Kids
We provide a safe, fun, and relevant environment for your child that reflects the love of God while helping them find and follow Jesus.
Curriculum
Our age-appropriate activities help engage kids in everything from their vocabulary development in our nursery/early preschool classroom to walking through the Bible in our older preschool/elementary rooms.
Large Group Experience
We have four unique large group experiences where children participate in corporate worship and storytelling. The large group environments are for children 20 months old through 4th grade.
Parent/Child Secure ID Tags
We use a 4-digit paging system, with each number unique to your family. This helps us ensure a safe pick-up process, and allows us to notify you in the event that your child needs you.
Staff & Volunteer Background Checks
All of our staff and volunteers who are 18 years or older participate in an annual criminal and sex-offender background check. We have strict diaper changing and restroom policies to keep NMC Kids a safe place.
Allergy/Medical Awareness
We alert all of our volunteers to any allergy or medical concerns your child may possess. We update this information on a regularly scheduled basis.
Special Needs
During our 11:00 service, we have a buddy system for children in preschool and elementary who have special needs. This allows children to fully access our classrooms and large group environments. An alternative environment is available if needed.

an energetic and safe environment
SHIFT
Our Shift ministry is for all 5th-7th grade students. We provide a high energy and engaging service for our students to help them find and follow Jesus and also connect with their peers. You can expect large group games, a time of worship through singing, a message, and small groups.
